i'm on a journey, like everyone else in the human race. well, and the entire animal kingdom for that matter. we really are just animals looking out for our best interests aren't we?
there's distinct differences between humans and animals; surprising as that might be to some.
see, animals KNOW their place.
humans have the tendency to assume animals are encroaching our space and somehow "out-of-bounds." it's this overwhelmingly incorrect philosophy that brings death to man. somewhere in the history of man the sense of pride was introduced (i'll give you a hint, it was about 5 seconds after creation). this sense of entitlement hinders the very walk of life that God is trying to supply to his children.
my point: animals are creatures of habit, as we are, but the distinct difference is that animals actually understand the concept of living better than most humans ever will. the key is in the simplicity of existence. again, this sense of entitlement that humans innately have in achieving "dreams above any comprehensible recognition," is the subtle death wish we all live by. don't get me wrong God loves (and does) bless His children with huge dreams. to really achieve what we are created for, we have to first understand WHAT we are and our place in this world. for animals, this is the simple fact they live by, but for humans? not so easy. we live our lives trying to be something we are not and trying to take over new territories that we feel are entitled to us somehow. funny, isn't it?
in the coming minutes, hours, days, i encourage you to enjoy simplicities of life. not cups of coffee, nice shoes, toothpaste, etc. but God's creative mind being accessible to you. God's creation at our fingertips for our enjoyment. the fact we exist in the first place. God hears you when you call out to Him. we have power in His name.
i pray that you begin to understand the simplicity of life so that God can flow through and through while cleansing your spirit. it's only when we can understand the simple truths that God can truly move mountains by our hands.
